The Yard in Bath Hotel Review, Somerset

June 2024 · 1 minute read

Continental breakfast is hung in a bag on a brass hook on your bedroom door, or if you arrange ahead you can have it in the courtyard. It’s a carefully presented and tasty selection: homemade granola, organic yogurt, fresh fruit (strawberries and blueberries on my stay), fluffy croissant and freshly squeezed orange juice. You are steered towards having breakfast at 8am, but ask and you can have it earlier or later.

During the day, coffee, homemade cake and Portuguese custard tarts made in Bath are on offer. Come evening, you can order drinks at the bar, including interesting beers and ciders (some local), wines and cocktails, along with cheese and charcuterie boards.

Covid-19: When restrictions finish, breakfast will switch to a cold buffet, though the option of having it in your room will continue.
