The BBC have announced that Mrs Brown’s Boys creator Brendan O’Carroll’s alter-ego Agnes Brown has been given her very own chat show.

The comedy talk show titled ‘All Round To Mrs Brown’s will feature top celebrity guests, plenty of innuendo, and audience shenanigans.

The highly anticipated show comes almost six years after the hit show Mrs Brown’s Boys premiered on the BBC. Since its debut the sitcom has become one of the most beloved comedies in UK TV history. Not only has it been voted the Best Sitcom of the 21st Century, it has also spawned a number 1 Box-Office hit; Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie.

And now lovable Mammy Agnes Brown is getting her very own chat show, which will be filmed in her house.

Show creator Brendan O’Carroll has confirmed the exciting news, saying: “The entire cast is excited by this. I think Agnes may be worried that she’ll need a bigger kettle to make tea for everyone that’s coming round!”

While BBC content chief Charlotte Moor said: “Bringing one of our biggest comedy stars Mrs Brown to Saturday nights in 2017 with a new entertainment show is going to be full of fun and mischief and totally unpredictable, I can’t wait!”
All Round To Mrs Brown’s is set to air on BBC 1 later this year.
