A New Film for the China Pavilion
Walt Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald announced that Disney will be creating a new film for the China pavilion at Epcot that will feature the splendor and majesty of that amazing country – with the help of some new technology.
Taking a cue from Walt Disney, who pioneered many different storytelling and motion picture innovations, Disney has developed a next-generation digital camera system, much as they did for Soarin’. Disney’s camera teams will to be taking this immersive camera system on the road first to film a brand new seamless Circle-Vision show for the China pavilion.
Gettin’ Around – Disney Style!
A new transportation service featuring vans themed to the one-and-only Minnie Mouse will soon be taking you everywhere you want to go at the Walt Disney World Resort. Starting later this month, guests at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts will be able to arrange their own private Disney van right from their smartphone. It’ll be simple to do. Just arrange a Minnie van and a Disney cast member will arrive and drive you anywhere you wish at the Resort in a magical way that only Disney can do.
New Adventures on Mission: SPACE
Mission: SPACE at Epcot has been a must-do for guests since it opened in 2003, allowing space adventurers to become navigators, pilots, commanders or engineers on a thrilling trip to Mars. At D23. it was announced that guests will be able to enjoy new adventures at Mission: SPACE – an updated Orange Mission and a brand-new Green Mission. (Orange is the more intense training experience, while Green is less intense).
The updated Orange Mission will make an even more visually stunning trip to Mars, while the all-new Green adventure will allow guests to blast off for an orbital adventure around planet Earth.
