She attended Singaporean American school and later joined Klein High School in Texas. She later earned a degree in Fine Arts from Julliard School’s Drama Division.

Lynn began her acting career from the American legal and crime drama TV series, Law & Order. After two years, she appeared in the TV series, The Education Max Bickford and Earth Angels. She rose to fame when she featured in The Merchant of Vernice in 2004.

Lynn has since then, featured in several movies such as John Cater in 2012, Samantha Crawford in Unconditional, The Hollow Point, Natalie Rogers in the series Manhunt: Unabomber and many others.
