Owens’ Family and His Career Trajectory
Terrell was born to a father L.C Russell and mother Marilyn Heard in Alexander City, Alabama, United States on 7 December 1973. He was raised by his mother and grandmother as his parents had a separation when he was very young. He took interest in football at a very young age and footballer Jerry Rice was his idol. He was forbidden by his grandmother from playing sports until high school.
He got the opportunity to play at the 1995 NCAA Basketball Tournament at the University of Tennessee. For the NFL Draft preparation, he took part in the Senior Bowl, and during the 1996 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers. A game against the New Orleans Saints was his first Professional game.
He along with quarterback Steve Young helped the team to win 13 games in 1997. In 2000, he had a remarkable year with 1,451 receiving yards and thirteen touchdowns. During 2001, he helped the 49ers manage a 12-4 record. he helped the team win the NFC West title in 2002. in 2003, Owens decided to leave the team and soon after signed the agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles.

For 2006-2008, he signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys, and his first match was against Jacksonville. He led the Cowboys to victory by scoring 8 receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown in the game. After his release from Cowboy, he signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2009.
A one-year contract in 2010 July was signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. During the 2012 season, he was offered a contract by Allen Wranglers to play for them. He accepted the contract and played 8 matches for them and was released in May 2012.
On August 6, 2012, the Seattle Seahawks signed a one-year contract worth $925,000 but within 20 days he was released. He never called quits in his career and on March 31, 2022, He has signed with Fan Controlled Football. Owens was traded to the Knights of Degen in the three-team, four-player trade on May 11, 2022.
