Butterbean has revealed the results of his epic body transformation.

The boxing legend, real name Eric Esch, has spent two years losing weight in an effort to save his life after tipping the scales at 36.11 stone.

Butterbean’s weight loss journey began when he signed up for a reality TV docuseries that follows him and five other people as they are coached by former professional wrestling champion Diamond Dallas Page.

The 57-year-old adopted a gluten and dairy-free diet, which consists of low-carb and high-protein meals that have allowed him to drop an extraordinary amount of weight.

Earlier this week, he stepped on the scale to find out exactly how much he weighs and shared a video of the moment he discovered he is over 15 stone lighter with his Instagram followers.

“Look, I’ve never done a public weigh-in,” Butterbean said.

“First time, I was 515lbs about a year-and-a-half ago, two years ago, so let’s see what I weigh now.

The scales announced his weight as 303.8lbs, which equates to 21.7 stone, and is the lightest Butterbean has ever been – he weighed around 75lbs heavier during his prime years in combat sports.

Butterbean, who finished his boxing career in 2013 with a record of 77-10-4, previously explained that his health kick began when concerns about imminent death arose.

“I went through a stage where I was looking at the end of my life - not that I was going to kill myself,” he told The Sun in June 2022.

“But in my life, I was getting down, I was way overweight and just feeling down. I didn’t know if I had a couple of years to live or not.

“I took a challenge to accept a docuseries or a reality show with Diamond Dallas Page and I’ve been here the past four months.

“And it’s given me more energy and life since I was fighting regularly. But now, I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life.”

Butterbean previously called for a fight with Jake Paul after getting in shape, but it's currently unclear if the slimmed-down star is still hoping to make a boxing comeback.
